# Platform Fees

### Platform Fees

The platform collects fees on swaps in USD, with no fees charged in coins:

* Swaps from one coin to another are routed through USD
* We maintain a single USD pool for each coin, without cross-pools
* Fees for cross-swaps are also collected in USD (internally processed as selling one coin and buying another)

The fee amount is 2%, which is relatively low considering that meme coins are expected to grow exponentially—far below the anticipated gains. With these fees, we can:

* Share revenue with platform promoters
* Reward users who stake Trend Coins on our platform

Fee collection represents the platform's primary revenue model.
